Headteacher's Welcome

Dear Parents/guardians,

A very Happy New Year to you. I would like to welcome you back to the spring term and introduce myself as the new headteacher of St Joseph’s Primary School Redhill.

My aim is to be out on the playground by the gates in the morning, please come over and introduce yourself. I hope to get to know you and the children over the next few weeks. I believe in a strong school community in order to support and nurture our children as well as strive for academic success.  The start of a New Year is always exciting and I am delighted to be here at St Joseph’s Redhill. I am ready to lead the school forward and look forward to working together to secure future successes for the school. I have come to the school with ten years of headship experience and I hope to be able to share those experiences as well as learn from the existing community of St Joseph’s. I have already been made to feel very welcome by the staff, governors and children and very much look forward to working with you all.

Safeguarding Statement

The Governors and staff of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are fully committed to safeguarding all of the children who belong to the school community. The school recognises its legal and moral duty to promote the well-being of children, protect them from harm, and respond to child abuse.

Parents and carers expect the school to provide a safe, secure and caring environment in which their children can flourish. To meet this expectation, the school implements a wide range of measures and policies, including the school’s Safeguarding & Child Protection policy and Health & Safety policy. Details of these policies can be found in the Policies section of the website.
